Fitness Center PoolPak Project

City of Twinsburg, Twinsburg Fitness Center is embarking on an exciting project to replace the Dehumidification units (PoolPaks) and roof of its indoor pool facilities. Beginning, Monday May 26, 2025 through September 1, 2025, the indoor pool will be closed as part of this significant improvement. These upgrades are designed to provide members and visitors with an improved aquatic experience that prioritizes safety, comfort and sustainability.

The capital improvement project will include the replacement of (2) failing PoolPaks, which are dehumidification units required to operate our aquatic facility. This project will also provide upgrades to the return and supply air systems and renovation of approximately 13,000 square feet of existing built-up roof system.

Membership Information Due to Closure

To ensure members continue to enjoy the best possible experience, the Twinsburg Fitness Center is implementing the following changes to membership levels in 2025.

• Fitness Center Membership rates will not be increased in 2025.
• Fitness Center memberships will include outdoor waterpark access for the Summer 2025 season at no additional cost.
• Sale of Waterpark Bundle memberships will be suspended through September 1, 2025.
• Sale of separate waterpark memberships will be suspended for the Summer 2025 season and be replaced by a fitness center membership.
• For those wishing to access the outdoor waterpark, a fitness center membership is needed. These memberships are available as monthly, summer only or annual memberships. See rates below.
• Beginning January 2, 2025, any annual membership purchased and paid in full, will receive 5 free guest passes to be used at either the outdoor pool or fitness center. These passes will expire on December 31, 2025.

What happens to my existing membership?

• Bundle Memberships purchased September 3, 2024 – December 31, 2024 will automatically receive the advertised 10 free guest passes. These passes will give access to either the fitness center or waterpark through January 2, 2025 - December 31, 2025.
• Bundle Memberships purchased September 3, 2024 – December 31, 2024 and paid in full; will automatically receive a credit for the waterpark portion of that membership. This credit will be placed on your Parks and Recreation account and can be used towards the purchase of future memberships or program registrations. No refunds will be given.
• Bundle Memberships on the Automatic Recurring Billing Plan members; your payment amount will automatically be adjusted to reflect the fitness center only cost beginning with the January 15, 2025 payment or upon expiration. No refunds will be given.
• Bundle Memberships on Automatic Recurring Billing Plan members; will automatically receive a credit of fees already paid toward the waterpark for the September, October, November and December payments. This credit will be placed on your Parks and Recreation account and can be used towards the purchase of future memberships or program registrations. No refunds will be given.
• Bundle Memberships that expire during the 2025 waterpark season; members will purchase a fitness center membership on a month-to-month basis to get through the end of the season.
• Current annual members, whose membership expires before September 2, 2025, will receive 5 free guest passes to be used at the outdoor waterpark or fitness center. These passes will expire on December 31, 2025.
• Those members with insurance subsidized memberships such as Silver Sneakers, United Healthcare Renew Active and Optum or other accepted membership programs, will have access to the outdoor waterpark and will not need to purchase a separate membership.

The upgrade project is expected to be completed by September 1, 2025, with the indoor pool reopening shortly thereafter. Regular updates will be shared with members via email, our websites, and social media channels.
